Considering a Year End Gift? Support the Boys & Girls Clubs
Original post made by Chris Canter on Dec 26, 2006
The foundations - The Morgan Family Foundation, the Lurie Foundation and the Grove Foundation have each agreed to match $1 for $1 all donations from new donors and those who have not given in three or more years. As a result - those making their first gift to the Clubs or renewing their support after three or more years, will have their donation matched $3 to $1 or quadrupled. One persons gift of $100 could translate into $400 for the Clubs.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula has been a part of the community for almost 50 years hower today, the Clubs has only 2,000 active donors out of over 700,000 residents living in the area. It is important that more people contribute - this is an vital organization that is providing safety and support to the children that most need it.
