Hazardous waste drop off

Residents of Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside and Portola Valley can take hazardous waste to a Menlo Park location on Saturday, Nov. 11.

The location will be disclosed to residents who make an appointment by calling 363-4718 or visiting www.smhealth.org/hhw/appt.

Appointments are limited.

Appropriate items include paint, thinners, batteries, pesticides, herbicides, motor oil, pool chemicals, drain openers and cleaning solvents.

Explosives, and infectious and radioactive waste will not be accepted.
