Stogner Shines while Marsala Fades
Atherton, posted by spectator, a resident of the Atherton: other neighborhood, on Apr 27, 2010 at 8:49 pm

In one of the many luncheons I had with Charles Marsala he confided in me that he had once been approached to run for County Supervisor. He found the offer tempting. However his business was going well at the time.

That was then, this is now. Michael Stogner has become a rising star on the peninsula political scene while Marsala's fortunes have fallen so fast that it's even money as to whether he could get alected dog catcher, much less to the City Council again.

It is only fitting that the source of Stogner's fortune is the source of Marsala's misfortune.

People are fed up with public corruption.

Marsala should resign from council, pack his bags and move on.

As far as Stogner goes, we\'ll just have to be content that he cleans up the County for now.

You should both sign up for Peter Carpenter's initiative.

Dear Almanac:

I just watched the BBC news and today is WORLD PREE FREEDOM DAY which they covered in depth--discussing concepts like the use of "intelligent P.R.", which refers apparently to the idea that a lot of small publishers are at the mercy of the advert revenues and pressure from corporate power to control bias.

Please double check that no other than your editors is in technological control of this blog or its many and rather odd deletions.
