Taking Aim at Caltrain
Around Town, posted by sniper, a resident of the Menlo Park: other neighborhood, on May 12, 2010 at 9:02 am

Supervisorial Candidate continues to make his mark on this upcomming election. He has taken aim at Caltrain and SamTrans. He has questioned why it is that San Mateo County taxpayers should subsidize a cadillac service between Santa Clara County and San Francisco.

During the community meetings Stogner has attended attendees have bitterly complained about the elimination of stops along the peninsula and the imposition of express service that leaves windblown passengers standing on the platform.

These complaints have fallen on deaf ears so far, not even Mr. Stogner's opponents (each of which have received big money from labor) have taken notice.

Mr. Stogner who is running a low budget grass roots campaign has taken notice and is being noticed.

CalTrain"s Best kept secret.

Monthly Pass 2 zone approx. $112.00

Allows you to ride from Redwood City to San Francisco as often as you like during week. On weekends you can ride wherever the train goes...Plus Bonus you can ride every BUS in San Mateo County all month.

I have no idea why they don't let the public know this.

Welcome to San Mateo County
