I wrote in my own name in both those categories. I wanted to send a message. Apparently so did a lot of other people. It's too bad they were both unapposed. I would have voted for just about anyone running against them.

I Purposely did not vote for Wagstaff or Munk. I can't and do not understand why these two who have some of the Dirtiest Records all Documented are running Unopposed. These two are running "Law Enforcement" Departments. This is very frightening and makes me wonder, Why?

Menlo Voter -

Just a word of caution: if my memory is correct, when you write in your own name on a ballot, it invalidates the ENTIRE ballot. This is because the ballot is no longer anonymous.

You can only place the name of a write in candidate if that person has already agreed to serve. Election officials have a formal declaration for these people.

POGO:

thanks for the heads up, but if it is a truely anonymous ballot how would they know I wrote in my own name?

I don't know, but I've heard this from more than one source, including on television last week.
