Mearsure G Senior citizen tax exemption due

July 15th is the deadline for filing a Senior exemption for the San Mateo Community College District (Measure G) tax exemption.

Must be 65 and own property in San Mateo County. You save $34.

Unless you're in a desperate financial condition personally, please leave this money for the schools. Education of students helps us all. Don't ask for the exemption.

There are no moral considerations when paying taxes. If it is your legal right to avoid the tax, by all means, do so. The government wastes 99% of the money anyway.
