Allied Arts Guild - Is it Being Sold?

Original post made by Allied Arts Neighbor on Mar 16, 2007

Living near Allied Arts has been an adventure. Just when things look like they've settled down, everything changes. What's this new emphasis on meetings and conferences? Are our streets now going to be cluttered with cars overflowing from the parking lot? What kind of meetings? Business meetings? Where, after the sessions or whatever, they go to their private catered bar, have a few drinks, and knock down our trees and mailboxes on the way home?

We know they tried to attract business visitors or clients in the past, but that didn't seem to work because nobody came. Lots of us were relieved. This is a residential community, not an office park or hotel property. Why would they come?

So if the meetings don't materialize as planned, what then? The only thing I see is to sell the property for some other use, hopefully houses or apartments and not a halfway house. I agree with the auxiliary ladies…..what's going on?
