Good Time To Buy and Build
Other Topics, posted by VCapitlist, a resident of another community, on Aug 30, 2010 at 11:08 am

Now that Half Moon Bay appears to be in foreclosure or in deep economic trouble with a ton of foreclosures going on, it seems a great time to buy land and build a REALLY attractive town on the order of Carmel since there is a beautiful Ritz Carlton, with golf courses, a private landing strip, and a homes with really great taste could be put up along with a downtown with Rue St.Honore type shops, or Avenue Matignon style for a really elite and private beach community.

Those who fear the outcome of the HSR destroying their homes with eminent domain possession, could tear down the city, which will not have a Council and dependent on our Peninsula types with money and taste, to buy, buy, buy.....

It is a shame to reap the rewards of a badly mismanaged area of our County, but none of us is to blame for taking advantage of building a great place with exquisite beach houses, restaurants, shopping and open air.

Also, there is a tunnel opening which will give quick access to the City, and avoiding all of the traffic messes for those who enjoy theater and opera in San Francisco.

DISINCORPORATED is a topic in the San Jose Mercury news last week, which made me think of this opportunity. NO. I am not a realtor. I just enjoy weekends at the Ritz Carlton and golf.

It would be a good investment area if the outcome of the elections get some good representation and Supervisors.

The place has nothing to amuse people and a dearth of restaurants or anything to do except sit in the sun and play golf.

It is a horribly planned area with one of the most beautiful sandy coasts in the world.

I just do not trust the San Mateo County special interest groups who are tied in already. One investor in particular is buying up very choice land and has friends waiting for foreclosures of better properties.
