Almanac Rush to Judgment The Local Dish, posted by Hank Lawrence, a resident of the Menlo Park: Sharon Heights neighborhood, on Jul 13, 2011 at 7:54 am
A friend of mine Lisa Rossetti wrote a great article in the Lagonian. I asked her if she would publish that in the Almanac Blog. She said she would. But instead of using her real name she used a sobriquet SMGOP. The Almanac took down her posting and wrote
"Post removed. If you are going to refer to an article written by someone else, give clear attribution at the top, link to it, and add your comment. The post should be your comment, not someone else's."
The article was not written by someone else. It was written by the Lisa Rossetti under a sobriquet.
The problem is that the Almanac does not like conservative posts and will use any reason, even specious ones, to remove posts that do not coincide with the Almanac's left wing ideology.

Lurker,
Lisa will repost her article again. Be sure to check the Almanac often because it is a conservative article and the Almanac does not take kindly to conservative writings. So it may yank it again. After all, isn't that is what freedom of the press is about? BTW the article is about how red states are far more generous with charitable contributions the blue states.

Want to know why the GOP brand is toast in California?
The local GOP spends time with posts (about how bible belt states give more to their church) ON THE SAME DAY that a special election is held in So Cal and the GOP gets beat again!
Why the heck wasn't dear little miss lisa down there doing gotv?
Lisa should, if she's not interested in actual ELECTIONS, have just posted a link to her lagoon article.
But why?
In the original, all she moans about is bible belt contributions and other generally worthless points, without any links, validation or proof, while Rome burns:
- Medicare
- McConnell debt capitulation
- GOP statewide office vacancies
- A friggin' SPECIAL ELECTION to the US House!!!!!!
At least bring Michelle Bachmann out here to rally the troops.
What's left of them, that still call themselves Republicans, as opposed to the chicken littles who call them selves "libertarians" or "independents".
Or get down to so cal and elect a congressman.
Post an article of gibberish about questionable unsubstantiated national level data on the alleged differences between libs and cons????

Lisa tries too hard and writes like Cheney after having read his worthless book about how he sloughs off his life and influence as Vice President. Then insults his boss, GW, who asks more advice from Cheney about EVERYTHING and Cheney's own declaration that he wasn't responsible for what Dubya's decisions.
He, like Rosseti takes conservative views and seem to forget the majority of the money in America was not in liberal hands. Of the 1% of the big cash held, it is surely mostly in Conservative coffers.
Madoff is responding close to the way Cheney and Lisa do. The Cheney book is mostly a recap of all the things he haughtily said to make him so disliked. To the liberals, save your money or send it to any charity except FEMA who are being castigated for their spending of money.Cheney is so rich already and his timing is strange with this book.Actually, it is funny and embarassing.
