Dear Editor:

I continue to be confused as to the Almanac's covering negative news stories related to Redwood City, but refusing to cover positive news stories also related to Redwood City or Sequoia High School. Why publish negative articles about the boys at Kennedy Middle School, but then refuse to cover Sequoia HS' winning football season last Fall, its 2011 graduates attending Stanford, Yale, and other Ivy leagues or many of the other positive things that are happening at Sequoia? The school is enjoying its largest enrollment since the 1970's or 80's, with many kids coming from the Roy Cloud/Emerald Hills area, and yet the Almanac appears to ignore its existence.

The only answer I can come up with is that the worse Redwood City looks, the better Menlo Park and Atherton will look in comparison.
