Hope people read Parks information about mountain lions. Very informative. Indigenous people know that animals were here before people. It was the animals who taught us how to live. We need to respect and protect our animal brothers. We also need to be very patient with them.

Everyone should indubitably understand is that these perdators eat people once the deer population are exhausted. Male deer used to be harvested each Autumn. But land trusts and other circumstances have limited their harvest and increased deer population and its respective predators. Since the deer are exhausting the carrying capacity of their habitat, they are coming into neighborhoods and being followed by their predators. The 'patient' mountain lions will eat anything, including humans to feed its cute young. Either dominate the species or become its victim. Romanticism can also be naive. Oh brother...indeed.
