What a colossal waste of money. Congratulations neighbors you got your fellow ratepayers to pay for your tree. Can't wait to see how they complain about people using *their* park!

Who will pay for the lights they will need in the park? The climate is a great attractant for the homeless, and good shade too for the wineo's. Give them food during the holidays...report them to the police for asking for domestic donations the rest of the year.

After just speaking with San Mateo County I've learned that SFPUC has agreed to go forward with the tunneling under the tree even though they've received absolutely NO assurance that a park will ever be built around the tree!!!!!

SFPUC will spend hundreds of thousands of rate payer dollars and the rate payers (and general public) will get absolutely NOTHING in return. Those individuals who campaigned for this have enriched themselves at our expense. Stop using public money to save a tree that only benefits one or two property owners.
