The Triumphal Return Atherton, posted by Can't wait, a resident of the Atherton: other neighborhood, on Nov 5, 2011 at 11:39 am
John Johns, CPA received both a resolution of commendation for superb job performance from the Town Council as well as one from the Atherton Civic Interest League.
He is the only employee in town history, I believe, to achieve both honors.
With his intimate understanding of financial matters, experience at Atherton, recognized superb job performance, and tenacity to leave no stone unturned in looking for cost savings and fiscal reforms, there can be no better candidate for Atherton's finance director now that Louise Ho has voluntarily chosen to retire.
I hope Mr. Johns can be persuaded to apply for this job. I also hope the Town does not do anything to violate any of his lawful rights in not considering him for this position because of his prior complaints about police misconduct at Atherton.

Like Chief Flint and Mr. Danielson, I'm retired. However, I let it be known to Mr. Danielson know that I'd be happy to be of service to the Town once again if called upon.
I know I've alienated some with my harsh criticism of the conduct of certain highly placed elected and appointed officials. However I have learned that the hallmark of trust is being told what what one needs to know rather than what wants to hear.

The San Mateo Mercury News reported that three people were arrested? What news paper is that, I've never heard of it. I've heard of the San Mateo Times and the Mercury News, but never the San Mateo Mercury News.

R. Gordon is too busy filming his computer screen while entering Almanac verification codes.
Hint: Codes contain both letters and numbers. Sometimes what appears to be a letter "o" is actually a zero and sometimes what appears to be the letter "l" is actually a one. There is no conspiracy and you're not Mel Gibson. Suck it up and try again... like the rest of us.

The only people arrested by the FBI were 3 San Mateo residents who were part of a 7 person group rigging auctions. None were public employees. Is this part of your "huge investigation" ?
