How do you know it's a police officer?

Better question: "How do you know it's a honest, qualified, police officer?"

Hint: It may depend on the town you're in such as Atherton.

Rev. Loon - I am sure disappointed in this comment. When we talk about people being safe - the tips must be out there and yours is purely a political POV. What if it was your mother or child who was stopped - do you think your POV is helpful? Of course not. The point here was and is to make people aware that someone is "out to get them". Your point is way off base. The Sgt. quoted says it correctly - if you have any concerns dial 9-1-1. Frankly your point states your overall concern for the residents in our area. Next time keep it to something useful.

Noticed a typo on my part - I meant to state it does NOT state your overall concern.

Again - I think any POV are useful with the exception of when they defy the safety of individuals.
