Power outage has neighborhood buzzing

The neighborhood west of Alameda de Las Pulgas near Avy Avenue, including Sharon Heights, lost power from around 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. last night (Thursday, June 13), Dale Horelick, longtime resident of Altschul Avenue, told the Almanac.

The power just went out again (June 14th, 3:30pm)! This is ridiculous...

and yet another power outage at midnight - saturday june 16th...

are we living in a third world country here???

Power is out here at Lucile Packard/Stanford Hospital. Not sure why. Total blackness for 2 minutes while the emergency generator kicked in.
