Kirsten Keith's donors are HEAVY on the Republican side. -- Duboc, Tolles, Bohannon, Kinney. Horton has has been similarly aligned. Silano was a Republican up until a couple years ago I believe. Riggs is a Libertarian. The only major donor Dem was Mike Nevin.

The fact that Heyward Robinson gave money to Shelly Masur is reason enough to vote for Kirsten Keith. [Portion deleted. This is a GREAT question. "Why is Shelly Masur giving up her school board seat that she just got in Nov. 2011?"
She took an oath before and after she was elected and part of that oath was that she would fill the position if elected for the 4 year term. She knew that the Supervisor District 4 seat was coming up in this election cycle. If she wins she will be causing damage/trouble for the school board.
