Atherton: Flint likely choice as permanent chief

Interim Police Chief Ed Flint is likely to become Atherton's permanent chief when the City Council meets on Wednesday, May 16.

Ed Flint would be a great choice as our permanent Police Chief.

Sounds as though Chief Flint has taken control of an out of control department. His termination,errr, the resignation of Devlught was a strong sign that he is in control. He has at least one more he needs to get rid of. Given enough time that person should provide the permanant Chief with enough rope to do just that.
