Lawsuit filed after Menlo Park teen struck in El Camino crosswalk

A Menlo Park family is suing a motorist and a number of public agencies, including Menlo Park and Atherton, for negligence and the "dangerous condition of public property" as a result of 2011 accident that injured teenager Courtney Schrier.

San Mateo County may find this lawsuit to be the first of many. They refuse to implement simple solutions to ensure pedestrian safety. I hope the Board of Supervisors is paying close attention.
