Movie review: 'The Master'

The film's unequivocal pleasures are Mihai Malaimare Jr.'s photography (shot on rare, extra-sharp 65mm film), brilliant period production design by David Crank and Jack Fisk, and the performances by Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman. -- PC

Author Steve Hassan, of “Freedom of Mind,” spoke to the “CBS This Morning: Saturday” co-hosts about the movie and why it’s got Scientologists up in arms.”:
