"The issue of Ayres' bail has raised debate several times since his original 2007 arrest. Police apprehended him on a $1.5 million warrant but, less than a day later, a different judge slashed the amount to $250,000 without explanation"

This is a Story all by itself.
"less than a day later, a different judge slashed the amount to $250,000 without explanation"

The different Judge was Smith who used to be on the Juvenile bench.

I have personally asked Steve Wagstaffe if he could confirm 2 phones calls that night from Ayres to Hon. Judge Marta Diaz.....He said he couldn't ongoing case etc. I was following up a lead from a very reliable source.
