Widmer request $6,000 for Party at end of McKeithen's Term
Atherton, posted by Anything is Possible, a resident of the Atherton: other neighborhood, on Nov 25, 2012 at 5:43 am

On the same Atherton Council agenda that has employee furloughs, increases the retirement age by seven years, reduces medical benefits and the town's retirement contribution; is a $6,000.00 budget request by Mayor Widmer to host a party at the end of council member McKeithen's term of office.

If the party is for staff and volunteers, then have it in in April when committee terms end.

Go to the meeting and use the public comment period before the Consent Calendar and simply reuest that this item be taken off the Consent Calendar. And then use the public comment period before this item is voted on to tell the council that this is a VERY bad idea.
