Currently the county manager salary cap is $270,000. He will be getting a 11% raise. And you might ask how did they come to this 11% figure? The county used a survey which included Michael Scanlon annual salary of $356,857 as Sam trans general manager. He is also the board president of Service League of San Mateo county. What's missing from the survey process is the simple question is there anybody in the United States of America with the qualifications to be a county manager that would be willing to take this position for a 10% DECREASE in salary. If you are opposed to this idea now is the time to send a email to your supervisors bos_webmaster@co.sanmateo.ca.us but they are just going to approve this anyways. That's why I'm not reccomending you go in person to speak it will just be a waste of time.
