An Eagle-Eyed Investigator Catches Dr. Ayres at Trader Joe's

Original post made by Lurker, another community, on Apr 14, 2013

Dr. William Ayres, child psychiatrist for four decades to both the offspring of the rich in San Mateo County as well as the juveniles and who was arrested for child molestation in 2007, was caught by chance at Trader Joe's in San Carlos on Friday by an eagle eyed investigator.

Although Ayres' lawyer is still claiming that Ayres' dementia precludes him from understanding court proceedings, here's video of him reading a magazine, possibly Time, and offering driving assistance to his wife.

Despite trying to groom a disabled man to be a victim at Napa State Hospital last year, Ayres is out on bail.

The article Ayres is reading appears to be about Toronto. Last year Ayres told a nurse at Napa State Hospital that he was thinking of disappearing and going into hiding for good, rather than face going to prison.

Kudos to Menlo Park investigator Nate Moser, one of the original investigators hired by the Ayres victims' families to tail Ayres back in 2011, for spotting Ayres while he was working on another surveillance job that day at Trader Joe's. Moser's question: "Why is that creep still free?"

Here's a Youtube video of Ayres taken 4/12/13. Note the dark glasses and baseball cap he's trying to hide behind.

Ayres could be reading the February, 2013 issue of Diversions magazine, the travel and leisure magazine for doctors.

Diversions had a big feature on Canada in that issue. That could explain the "Toronto."
