Save Menlo shows its hypocracy

Original post made by Peter Carpenter, Atherton: Lindenwood, on Jul 30, 2013

Save Menlo has finally shown its true colors and its true intentions - rather than working with Stanford or the city council to improve the proposed Arrillaga project Save Menlo has now disclosed that it intends to try to totally block the project via a ballot initiative.

As has now been reported Save Menlo is indeed seeking signature for just such an initiative.

One wonderers what the exact initiative language is since Save Menlo won't even post it on its own web site - what are they hiding?

It appears that one component of the proposed initiative will force Stanford to develop each of its three ECR parcels as separate projects - so much for having an intergreated design that uses interior portions for public access. Hopefully they realize that once that start gathering signatures they cannot change the language of the proposed initiative.
