Deputy charged with molesting relative

A San Mateo County sheriff's deputy has been arrested and charged with molesting an underage female relative, a Santa Clara County deputy district attorney said Tuesday.

He's been placed on PAID administrative leave?!? : (

Pearl - he's innocent until proven guilty. Paid admin leave is standard in many places when one has been accused of a crime. If he is found innocent and wasn't paid while on leave, the county would be liable for his pay & more.
