Swift Boaters reappear - the silly season begins
Other Topics, posted by Big Cat, a member of the Las Lomitas School community, on May 4, 2012 at 10:33 am

[portion deleted] Karl Rove promotes another lie "Obama never thanked the military in the bin Ladin operation Web Link

Who funded these jerks, Karl, which one of your anonymous superpacs? Probably the Karl and the Kochs; the swiftboater has links to AFP.

Facts: the President did thank all involved, several times, on record, on video. The President, who as the decision-maker made the excellent choice to send troops after bin Ladin instead of merely lobbing a drone missile in there, thereby securing proof along with vast amounts of intelligence, has never taken credit over those who were in the operation.

Karl is just still depressed that his "Mission Accomplished' banner made him a laughingstock. Karl wakes up in cold sweats at night, thinking: "Obama got bin Ladin, and all I got was this lousy Romney"

As for the new SwiftBoaters? There intentions are clear - they actually announced them! Web Link

"Joel Arends, [Vets for a Strong America's] founder, chairman, and sole staffer, tells me he's proud of his organization's viral video, even if it's characterized as swift boating. "Yes, it's the swift boating of the president, in the sense of using what's perceived to be his greatest strength and making it his greatest weakness.""

Nice job! Thanks for highlighting the President's strong foreign policy and security credentials. Remind us again the extent of Romney's foreign policy experience - being reelected as the Governor of Mass....

Oh, that's right, he couldn't even get a 2nd term. Foreign policy, hmmm, he did do a year of missionary work in Paris....

Big Cat, it's going to get worse from here.

Whoops! Already has! Romney's folks released the first attack ad of the season.

Web Link

Now you know why Ann Romney called CNN talking head Hilary Rosen's comments as "an early birthday present".

Even Ann knew the attack ad was coming. An attack ad on a CNN talking head, while yesterday Mitt claims that he deserves "a lot of credit" for saving the American auto industry, hoping everyone forgets he opposed the bailouts that saved 3 million American jobs. Web Link and the original Mitt Myth Web Link

video of Mitt ad Web Link

Phony attack on motherhood (as opposed to mothers who also hold down jobs) vs Mitt telling another Mitt Myth about the bailout he opposed and now wants "a lot of credit" for.

Such a difficult choice this fall. The Liar vs the Economy Saver.

Big Cat - "he did do a year of missionary work in Paris...."

That was during the Vietnam War, which Mitt fully supported, from Paris.

Very similar to Dick Cheney supporting the war while asking for 7 deferments. And Rush Limbaugh supporting the war but getting excused because of a cyst on his @$$.

Chickenhawks, all. At least Sarah Palin had a son in Iraq.
