Time to review and course correct the Specific Plan

Original post made by time to course correct, Menlo Park: Allied Arts/Stanford Park, on Jan 16, 2013

This week's guest editorial by Planning Commissioner John Kadvany asks important questions that the City Council needs to answer.
By all accounts, the Stanford project isn't at all what was expected by decision makers, and not at all what we residents were led to believe in the Vision process.

We don't have to roll over and accept what is happening. Time to course correct! The planning board is holding a study session on the 28th and needs to hear from residents. The Council said they intended to review Public Benefit in 6 months but no meeting is scheduled. This needs to change.
