Sequoia Healthcare District Volunteers at St. Anthony de Padua Dining Room

Original post made by Jack Hickey on Apr 16, 2013

"The District has been supporting us through its wonderful Community Services program since 2009." Web Link

Note; prior to 2009, St. Anthony's only accepted funds from "willing givers". I once was a willing giver to St. Anthony de Padua Dining Room. Now they accept tax dollars, but don't acknowledge that fact in their 2012 Spring Newsletter Web Link

Donations to St. Anthony's
Regular $573,024.54
Memorials 42,500.00
Estate Bequest 10,013.97
Dining Room 2,628.13
Foundations 238,484.13
Corporate Matching Gifts 3,575.00
Fundraisers 25,541.11
Total $895,766.75

I suspect that they consider Sequoia Healthcare District to be a Foundation. It is not! It is an obsolete government agency created by voters to build Sequoia Hospital. It is funded by property taxes. It no longer owns Sequoia Hospital. The Sequoia Healthcare District should be dissolved before they compromise other worthy charities.
