Greg was a strong third in 2012. He makes a great choice in 2013.

Conlon's stated positions during the last election, when he was not endorsed by the cops, that he was all for the cops and their compensation, to try to curry their favor, rule him out. He shouldn't even try. He's not going to get that seat.

Not a chance: Says who? You? You make the sole decision. A strong third is very good!!

Preventing Atherton cops, who receive most of Atherton's budget money, from controlling a third seat (they currently have paid for and own Lewis and Wiest) is a worthy goal. Conlon gets disqualified on this basis. Remember his remark that he "cherishes" the police department.

I like it when citizens get involved, I think it is important.

Recently 4/23/13 Greg Conlon got involved at a Board of Supervisor meeting to express his thoughts about the Boundary Redistricting Committee its makeup and to check its legal standing.

He has attended several if not all of the Redistricting Committee meetings and has made comments. He is interested in the bigger picture meaning San Mateo County.

I wouldn't worry to much about any pro police comments attributed to him, I know of only one candidate in the past who was able to stay away from the police support. Atherton residents have a very unique challenge on their hands and until the Police Department gets of of the politics business, I would guess that ALL candidates are going to say how much they cherish the APD....I say it almost everyday as I drive through town.
