■ Prohibit parking on the south side of Woodside Road "in proximity to the school's four driveways and the crosswalks."
I can't support this one.... That will cause more problems than it solves.

Another issue. How about people start using the cross walk at the stop sign corners of Mt. Home Road/Woodside Road/Cananda more often than not. Seems that everytime I drive through town I have to stop at least 2 times for adult "jay walkers". We need to set an example for chidren to be safe. This is terribe...cross walk is only feet away, please use it.

Removing parking from in front of the school will encourage people to park at Roberts or Bucks and walk from there, making them perpetually late for school after circling around for parking and then looping back.
I don't want my kids crossing at Mt Home and Woodside Rd. and Canada because half the cars can't figure out whose turn it is to cross, and there are near accidents all the time. A cross-walk further away from that dangerous intersection would be used more.
2/3rds of the parents have 2-3 kids in their cars at drop-off. Not 1. With all the remote roads people travel from, driving will always be a huge part of the story.
Or Woodside could be more like east coast schools and provide buses. Even Menlo Park has a bus paid for by parents. But on the east coast, it's district provided everywhere.
