Police investigations into two Redwood City massage parlors for alleged prostitution ended with the arrest of three women, police said Wednesday.

The two-month investigation concluded Friday, when an officer went to the New Spa at 636 Camino Real for a massage and was offered prostitution, Redwood City police said.

Li Zheng, a 38-year-old Fremont resident and employee at the New Spa, was arrested for alleged solicitation of prostitution. The business’s owner, Ting Sun, 27, was arrested on suspicion of pimping and pandering, police said.

Officers searched Sun’s Milpitas home and confirmed that she was also the owner of another Redwood City spa, where detectives made an arrest last month, police said.

A detective went into the Aurora Spa at 1685 Broadway and was offered prostitution on July 22, leading to the arrest of Winnie Tse, 44.

A search of Tse’s residence after that established a connection between the Aurora Spa and the New Spa, police said.

Police started the investigation after receiving complaints of prostitution at both spas. Anyone with information about the case has been asked to call Redwood City police at (650) 780-7133.
