I don't think that the MP Council (those who are for flushing money away) did any due diligence.

This report is not the first one to discredit carbon credits (pun not intended). It is one thing to do a token gesture... and an entirely different thing to throw $15k in the wind!

This is an article that really points out the non-sense going on here.

Our council has been hood-winked by green hysteria. The Fergusson-Robinson block has been able to dominate the last 1.5 years of both council time and staff time. Its really sad when so many other useful priorities need to be addressed.

Of course we do understand that Gail Slocum is really the driving force here.

There is still one more item they are seeking to get into the next budget. We need some fresh face to replace Fergusson the upcoming fall.
