This annual event is more than a fund raiser. It is an event that provides the entire community, the opportunity to connect and have fun in a beloved park. The festivities include live music by the band Dream Posse, a catered BBQ by Luttiken's and good wine. Fun field games, including the good old potato sack race, egg and spoon race, clowns, a bounce house and a special Parrot show will entertain children and adults alike. A live-auction and a silent auction will also be featured. The event lasts from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Atherton Dames and the Holbrook-Palmer Park Foundation. Proceeds will go toward future improvements that are part of the Landscape Master Plan that was developed and envisioned by the community.
Tickets are $700 for a table of 10, $75 for opening seating, children under 12: $15, and children under 2 are free. For reservations call 234-8447.
