Review: 'Captain America: The First Avenger'

Original post made on Jul 22, 2011

Now "Captain America" is a blockbuster that resembles the remark, delivering pulpy fun in the cliffhanger vein. ==I -- PC==

Oh my Gosh - newsflash! This may actually be a good movie. The NY Times, USA Today and now Slate with very strong reviews. I was really expecting this one to get panned - though I'm not sure why - the trailers looked good. My favorite review thus far goes again to the "Finnish Pauline Kael" - Kimmo Mustonenen. He did not like it but his review is funny.
