Original post made by Tarny Perkins on Jun 5, 2007

Twins, Jesse and Christian Perkins of Menlo Park were invited as two of the premier local basketball players, to help launch the biggest basketball training partnership in Northern California. Triple Threat Academy workouts will move from Bishop O'Dowd High School to two 24 Hour Fitness locations: the Oakland High Street Magic Sport and San Leandro Magic Sport. The program is run by Tony Freccero and Lou Richie. The launch took place at Oakland High Street Magic Sport with active coverage by print and TV media. Others participating in the program included Leon Powe, ex CAL star now with the Boston Celtics, ex-Cal basketball players Ayinde Ubaka and Richard Midgley, Sanford guard Drew Shiller, as well as other gifted basketball players from Northern California including Brandon Walker. All of the participants continue to train with Triple Threat Academy.
