I have been a long time regular of " Bravo Fono ", actualy ten years now. I am crushed to find out that my favorite restaurant has closed. The food was allways outstanding and the service and servers were superb. At least I have some consellation that " Babbo " is still available to me, and my favorite waiter " Eddie " has moved over from Bravo Fono to Babbo. Babbo is still serving the gulyas, but unfortunately no breadsticks. I will now of course be a regular patron of Babbo, but the memories of Bravo Fono will never fade. If you have never tried the food of Lazlo Fono, please do yourself a favor and patronize Babbo Cafe, and ask for Eddie! Oh, and if enough people request the breadsticks maybe they'll bring them back.

We go to Babbo's on a regular basis. It's a great little restaurant.

The highlight of my trips to Stanford Shopping Center used to be a stop at the gelato bar at Bravo Fono. I was heartbroken when they got rid of it. It was the best lemon sorbetto in California.
