I'm one of the "oldies"d around town; can remember when Kepler's was on the west side of El Camino with stacks of newspapers on the floor, catering to the '60's crowd, non-conformists and hippies, but they always had that far-out book and paperbacks for those who couldn't afford hard backs.
I'm delighted that you have used your ingenuity and morfed into something more currently useful. Besides, it's not good for your eyes to be glued to e-books! ANd you can't give one to your best reading friend after you/ve finished.
P.S. My favorite Kepler's employee is Nancy Salmon. Hope she's still there!

I have avoided Kepler's since the redesign. Kepler's used to be a great place to browse, but the psychedelic flooring is hideous. With such nausea-inducing decor, I have no inclination to enter the store, much less buy anything.
