Huh. Nice, modern remodeling done not many years ago. Why don't we help out other neighbors who need more, say, Redwood City? Menlo's beginning to look elitist in attitude. It's inhumane to 'want more' to this extent while other less fortunate areas do with far less; the kids know this - and that adults here promote this. While there's likely some city ordinance that we cannot help other communities who need more than us - well, can't we do something about that?

Yes. You can make a personal donation to any Redwood City organization that you choose. Others can do the same.

Would it be better to reopen one of the two schools the district rents to the 2 private schools? The taxpayer might pay less with a smaller bond to fix Ladera or La Loma and a parcel tax to make up for the rent, with less crowding at the two existing sites.
