An update to the $1,000,000 Nursing Program
Web Link shows that $739,000+ of that subsidy is being expended each year with no benefit to the community served by the District.

It appears that the primary beneficiaries of the subsidy are:
1. Sequoia Hospital*, which employs 64 of the Graduate Nurses,
2. The California Nurses Association
3. The Graduate Nurses

* Note: Sequoia Hospital is no longer owned by the Sequoia Healthcare District.
