Association of California Healthcare Districts removes "Guide to Grassroots Advocacy" from its website

Original post made by Jack Hickey, Woodside: Emerald Hills, on Apr 6, 2013

In another topic "Why is the Sequoia Healthcare District switching its Workers Comp. Insurance to ACHD's Alpha Fund?" Web Link I provided a link to the "Guide to Grassroots Advocacy" on ACHD's website. They have removed that document, but you can view it on my website Web Link

The ACHD website now contains a list of committees, one of which is the Advocacy Committee see: Web Link
They are still engaging in this questionable activity with the support of the Sequoia Healthcare District (your property tax dollars).
Here's what the do:

Advocacy Committee
Committee is responsible for the oversight of legislative, regulatory, collaborative and grassroots activities of the Association and the ALPHA Fund. The committee is comprised of a minimum of 7 and maximum of 11 Healthcare District representatives.

Main Goals:

Implement strategies for collaboration and communication that support the mission of the Association
Advocate on issues that impact California's Healthcare Districts
Main Objectives:

Identify and implement collaboration opportunities
Identify and implement a communication plan to improve linkages between Association and its stakeholders
Enhance relationships with Legislators
Educate Members on the legislative process
