St. Anthony's gets emergency generator
St. Anthony's Padua Dining Room in North Fair Oaks, which serves 600 free meals a day, has installed an emergency generator that will allow it to continue operations during natural disasters and power outages, and to serve as a Red Cross disaster relief center.
The generator, part of a four-year effort to expand the organization's disaster relief capability, was paid for by grants from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Atkinson Foundation, Cargill Corp., and the Carl Gellert and Celia Berta Gellert Foundation.
St. Anthony's Padua Dining Room is located at 3500 Middlefield Road. For more information, call 365- 9664.
