Roizen joins Draper Fisher Jurvetson

The Menlo Park venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson recently announced that Heidi Roizen has joined the firm as a venture partner.

A Stanford graduate, Ms. Roizen co-founded T/Maker Company and went on to executive positions with Apple Computer, Mobius Venture Capital, and other technology companies.

Draper Fisher Jurvetson invests in mobile communications, the Internet, health care, and clean energy. The company's website lists Skype and Tesla as two of the businesses it has backed.
