Menlo council cancels two meetings

Bookmark and Share
Menlo Park's gadflies will need to save their public comments until April 17, as the City Council has canceled its next two meetings.

If you just can't stand the lack of political action, the Environmental Quality Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 4. Agenda topics include how to implement the council's desired community greenhouse gas reduction target, and an update on the proposal to build a well to draw from a public aquifer to irrigate a private country club's golf course and a few city properties.

The commission meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in an unusual location: the Arrillaga Family Gymnasium at 600 Alma St.
