Drop off household hazardous waste
Menlo Park residents may bring household hazardous waste to a drop-off location in central Menlo Park from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, April 14. There is no charge, but residents must make an appointment.
Visit smhealth.org/hhw or call 363-4718 to make an appointment.
The waste may include paint, motor oil, batteries, fluorescent lamps, pesticides, pool and photo chemicals, drain openers and cleaning solvents. No radioactive, explosive, medical or commercial waste will be accepted.
Residents may also dispose of hazardous waste through the free "At Your Door" collection program, which picks up hazardous items near your door.
