Thursday: Supervisor candidates answer questions at forum
The seven candidates for the District 4 seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors have been invited to answer questions at a two-hour League of Women Voters forum on Thursday, May 3. The forum starts at 7 p.m. in the Menlo Park City Council chambers at 701 Laurel St.
The candidates must reside in the district, but run county-wide. The district includes much of Menlo Park and has been represented by Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson for 14 years.
Written questions can be submitted from the audience and a League moderator will pose questions to the candidates.
The forum is organized by the League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County (lwvssmc.org).
Cable Channel 26 will air a taped video of the event, and the League says the video will be on its website (smartvoter.org).
