Mid-Peninsula High School offers classes and electives designed to keep students engaged in learning. Classes are Monday-Thursday and limited to 15 students. Every Thursday there's a BBQ lunch. The science and art classes have weekly field trips.

Learn to Row classes for adults at Bair Island Aquatic Center. No previous experience or fitness level required. Six sessions in spring and summer, consisting of two weekends of classes (9 a.m.-noon Saturday and Sunday), followed by four weeks of instruction in the novice crew.
