Caption with photo in print edition: Don Jeffords trims the super-short 'do of Paul Sims at Simpson's Family Barber Shop in Menlo Park on Saturday, May 16. In his 40 years as a barber, Mr. Jeffords says he's "cut more flat tops and crew cuts than you could shake a stick at." Saturday was Mr. Jefford's last day at Simpson's — he's moving to New York, where he plans to continue working as a barber.
