Children invited to Easter egg hunt
The city of Menlo Park will hold its annual egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 3, at Burgess Park
At 10 a.m. the bunny arrives, the bounce house opens, and crafts begin. The egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. for children 2 under, accompanied by parents. Hunt times are 10: 45 a.m. for 3-4 year-olds with parents optional, 11 a.m. for ages 5-6 years, 11:15 a.m. for ages 7-8. Parents are not allowed to take part in the egg hunt, unless noted.
Children should bring their own basket or bag and will be given additional candy at the end of the hunt. In the event of rain, eggs and candy will be given out at Burgess Recreation Center at 10 a.m.
Children may also take a ride on Old Tom, the Menlo Park Fire Protection District's old-time fire engine, and pose for photos with the bunny. Parents should bring their own camera.
