Portola Valley council could set definition for open space

Bookmark and Share
The Portola Valley Town Council will consider a definition of open space when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Historic Schoolhouse at 765 Portola Road.

The matter came up for discussion recently in light of the ongoing community conversation on how to develop the six acres adjacent to Town Center that was once the Spring Down property and is now a meadow with a small pond on it.

Go to is.gd/bIOmi (case sensitive) and turn to Page 30 for more.

The council is also set to consider going paperless for council meetings, a move that could replace paper reports with laptop computers for the council members.

A representative from the Cultural Arts Committee is also set to present a proposal to mount a collection of ceramic tiles, prepared by children in the 1960, on the exterior of the community hall.
