Dr. Bortz to speak on 'Roadmap to 100'
Dr. Walter M. Bortz II of Portola Valley will speak Wednesday, May 5, at Kepler's Books in Menlo Park on his new book, "The Roadmap to 100: The Breakthrough Science of Living a Long and Healthy Life."
The program begins at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Bortz, who recently ran the Boston Marathon at the age of 80, is a clinical associate professor of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine who has focused his research on the importance of physical exercise in the promotion of robust aging.
He is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
